Skip Booking Charges & Fees for Benefit Product customers

In this article, we will explore the option of removing Booking Charges and Fees for customers with a Benefit Product, like a Friends Membership or Patron scheme. This can be an excellent motivator to enhance your memberships and is quick and easy to set up. All you need to do is add the tag 'skip_booking_charges' to the Benefit Product. 

Go to Manage > Products.

1. Select the Benefit Product you want to edit.

2. Make sure you are on the Product details tab.

3. Add the tag 'skip_booking_charges' into the Tags box and hit enter on the keyboard.

4. Select Update to save.

Now, when a customer with this Benefit Product is added to the Cart at Box Office or logs into their account online, any Booking Charges & Fees will be removed automatically.

 Ticketsolve Tip

If there are any Booking Charges (not Fees) that you do not want to be skipped, like a Restoration Levy or other hidden charge, tag the Booking Charge with 'noskip'.
