The session provided valuable insight for all venues on how to get the most out of the ticket allocation functionality, for both allocated seating and unreserved seating.

We first explored the purpose of ticket allocations and what each option in the setup means. Next, we looked at how to use ticket allocations for assigning seats and banded pricing. Lastly, we covered how to use allocations for reserving seats, selling a portion of tickets through third parties, and early bird discounts.

Note: During the session, we mention adjusting the size of ticket zones in the master allocation. We say that if you have unallocated or unreserved seating you cannot adjust the ticket zone up. This is incorrect, as you now can adjust size of the ticket zone up or down as needed in unallocated/unreserved seating zones.
