Ability to change show description for individual events

For panto we have a relaxed performance and a preview, because the text (Description) is different from the others for these we currently have to create a new and separate show for these occurrences.

It would be good if there was a way in the event settings for the different event if we could make custom show details with custom information that overrides the main one .
This would mean that the relaxed performances are still part of the same show and make reporting easier (especially event settlement report).

    Thanks for this feedback - we don't currently have anything on the roadmap for offering alternative Show Descriptions, but I'll leave this thread open and it can of course be considered for future developments if it's something that a lot of users would find a helpful addition.

    In the meantime, I wanted to suggest a couple of alternatives below that are currently available in Ticketsolve that might work for you:

    • The "event attribute" setting can be used to add short text across the event date/time listing e.g. "relaxed", "BSL interpreted" etc. 
    • The "email note" setting can be used in addition, which can be set at Event level to bring in additional information regarding the purchased event into the Checkout Mailer. 
    • We can also help you with adding additional information to the seating map, if applicable, by adding text onto the background image of the map.
