Hi - I am sure I have asked TS before, maybe not deemed a requirement... So I would like to know if anyone else can see an advantage/disadvantage with this.... I think it would be helpful when a show/allocation/event has an 'Exclusive Access' code, Ticketsolve should force Box Office users to use it as well.
If Box Office users can just book show/allocation/events without entering a code (as they currently can) how do administrators know that any reports they run on 'access codes' are accurate?

I think this would be beneficial in places where there are a decent number of box office staff working. We have a small number of staff and adding additional steps to the process would slow things down during busy periods. I think this could be complicated if there are numerous exclusive access codes available.
I don't have a lot of experience in working in this way so would like to hear other users experiences with this. We have only been using the system for 1 year so still working out and testing some of the features and functions.

Thanks for the input, as it happens we do have many box office staff at 3 different locations. Personally I don't think it is adding any additional steps, I would imagine if you, or a hirer, requires an access code one would still require staff to enter it on TS (code tab) in order to record it.
We often have hirers who require priority access for their members etc... and they always want to know how many members for example booked before general release.
I am just a little disappointed that TS allows things like this to happen - it just means there has to be 'Instructions' for relevant shows .....when in theory all that would need displaying is the code and the system ensures the rest, In truth the code doesn't even need to be displayed - The customer gives the code and the system either accepts it or not.....just like online.

Hello Everyone
This morning seems to be the morning for discoveries. We use exclusive access for parents to get priority booking online, but it now seems we have to enter the same promo code for every phone booking made in the Box Office. Whilst I see the advantages in some settings, in our situation it is frustrating, does anyone know if there is a way to turn this off in the back end?
