Waiting Lists

I know there has been a post on this in the past - but can it be a requirement for non-registered customers to provide a name when adding themselves to waiting lists - I don't know how others feel but it seems incredibly unprofessional not to be able to address customers by name - particualry in our environment of a school.

Hi all,
Today the Waiting List feature was updated. The 'Name' and 'Phone' fields are now mandatory. It also gives the customer a login option, so when a customer has an existing account they need to log in, add the amount of tickets required and add themselves to the list.

I have to agree. We find this the same being a university. I would also like it compulsory for a telephone number to be left as our waiting list usually kicks in at the later stage of the booking process and sending people emails to confirm tickets at this stage hasn't really worked in my experience.

Thank you for your feedback on the waiting list feature. I can see how it would be difficult where no names or telephone details are available, especially last minute when sending out emails to customers is not possible. I'll pass this feedback onto our Development team & keep you updated.
