Planned
Automatic Ticket Allocation to Allocation Switch

Charlotte Soane
We currently set up Early Bird ticket allocations by adding effective "from" and "to" dates.
Would it possible if we could set a ticket limit on one allocation, once that's sold out the next allocation would become available at a higher price. Encouraging customers to buy tickets early for an event.
We understand this can be done manually, but it becomes difficult if that allocation sells out when the box office is closed.

I think this is a great idea.
It would also be good if a countdown could be displayed along with API so websites can also display "Only ## available at this price". It may encourage people to book even quicker.
There will need to be consideration to the issue of there only being 2 left and the customer puts 4 in the basket. Also dropped reservations - if the reservation expires after all reduced price ones have sold it will need to go in the full price allocation otherwise someone could potentially get cheaper tickets after others have paid full price.
Hey Charlotte, Kai,
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback, and apologies for the delayed response! I've passed this along to our development team, and they’ll be reviewing it to see what might be possible. I’ll keep you posted here with any updates as soon as I have any news 😊
Hey Charlotte, Kai,
To update you on this, I’m pleased to let you know that the functionality for ticket allocations to automatically become live when others sell out has been approved, and it’s now on our development backlog. While I don’t have a timeline or any exact details just yet, I’ll keep you posted here as soon as I have any updates. 😊
Hey - this great news, thank you! :)
