Customer Numbers
Alex Youngs
Hi there,
It would be useful to be able to see how many customers are in the database without having to create a run a report.
For example, my instinct when trying to find this number was just to hit 'Search Customers' where I assumed I would be presented with a total number of customers before I could then start filtering.
At the moment I have to head to Reports instead to try and get summaries of various filter views or an overall figure.
Small thing, but would save a few clicks I guess.
Thanks

Hey Kate & Alex,
Thanks for your additional feedback on this, and happy new year! We're gradually transitioning feature requests and improvements from this Wishlist to the Ticketsolve Notification Centre - Ideas section (accessible from the bell icon in the top right hand side of your screen).
I've copied this original request along with your comment, Kate, over to a new post in the Ideas section (link here). We’ll keep this post visible there to see if it gains traction from other Ticketsolve users, and I'll share it with our Dev team - I'll keep you posted over there with any updates :)
Thanks,
Hey Alex,
I hope you're all good?
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback 😊 This isn't something that's been requested before, but it's an interesting point!
As you've mentioned, you're already able to get the total number of customers by running a Your Report, but we completely understand how a quicker way to access that number via Search Customers could save time and effort. If you’re able to share how often and why you’re needing to perform this action to see the total number of customers, that would be really helpful for us to understand the impact and explore potential options.
Our feature development always depends on how many customers it will benefit, so we’ll leave this post up to see if it gains traction with other users. Thanks again for contributing, and we’ll keep an eye on this one!
Hi Natalie and Alex,
Agree with Alex here - it would be really useful if this part of the system had more search and filter flexibility. Currently, it relies on you knowing the customer information, whether it name or customer number, to find a customer record.
We would find it useful to be able to search by date created for example - a useful user case is on the occasions where there is a failure in the link between payment gateway and Ticketsolve, and we need to try to reconcile records. We had an instance where an Apple Pay payment was successful in our transaction dashboard in GP, but because of the extra security levels, had no customer information associated, so we couldn't search for the customer record and contact them. We would have been able to find the customer information in Ticketsolve if we were able to search the date in the 'Search customers' part of the site, as even if the transaction was unsuccessful according to Ticketsolve and the customer checked out as a guest, the record would have been created at the point the customer reached the 'Billing page' in the payment journey.
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks,
Kate
