Apple Pay!

Hey guys

As we know with more users buying on mobile it would be great to integrate apple pay or similar into the purchasing process for mobile for efficiency!

I would support this! With a predominantly student audience, everyone in our building pays with contactless and this is increasing more and more with Apply and Android Pay. I believe Realex supports this.

I think they're working on a new integration for card terminals anyway as we were told the current YesPay solution conflicts with Ticketsolve Connect since Firefox add-ons are now deprecated, so adding support for contactless at the same time would be great.

We have a chip & pin terminal that supports contactless + Apple/Android Pay already but it's currently sat in a box unused as we're not able to get it set up currently as far as we're aware.

Customers are a bit suspicious sometimes of handing their cards over to us to type the details in even though it's the same as a phone sale, but more importantly it just slows things down especially if you've a queue.

We currently use a Chip & Pin card reader which isn't integrated directly to Ticketsolve and then manually record the payments during the booking process. We were able to change our PDQ supplier at the time of moving to Ticketsolve as the University already holds a contract with Barclaycard. It can be a bit time consuming during busy times but does enable us to accept Apple Pay at the counter for in person sales. Would be great to get a 'Contactless' option added to the Chip & Pin drop down menu in the back end to record the number of payment paid for in this way for reporting and planning.
