Exclusive Access promo code on seat selection

It would be useful if there was a way for customers to input promo codes on the seating plan page in addition to the show page / cart page, or failing that, better prompts for the below scenario.
Our website currently directs straight to the seating plan stage, bypassing the ticketsolve show page.
For exclusive access promo codes, this means that anyone trying to book an exclusive allocation are told that they need the code, but aren't given a method or directions to how they may enter it.
As they can't proceed to the cart page without it, the only way is to click on the show name to go back to the ticketsolve show page, which I don't think most customers would realise given they won't have been on that page previously.
