In this article we are going to look at the Reserved Order Expiry Warning email template. This email is sent to a customer who has tickets placed on reservation when the reservation is due to soon expire.
What is included in the Reserved Order Expiry Warning email?
By default, your Reserved Order Expiry Warning email will include:
- Organisation / account name that the order is placed with
- Order number for the reserved order
- Date and time that the reservation will expire
- Order description include event name, date and time, and the quantity and value of tickets in the order
You can decide whether the using the Reserved Order Expiry Warning emails send out when a reservation is soon to expire or not using the Account-level setting called "should warn customers when expiring".
Modifying your Reserved Order Expiry Warning email
The easiest way to customise or modify your Reserved Order Expiry Warning email template is using Mailchimp. You would need to design the email in Mailchimp, making sure you keep the required merge fields (we've got a ready made template you can update). You'd then export the HTML from Mailchimp, and add it into your Reserved Order Expiry Warning email template setting in Ticketsolve.
