From time to time, Ticketsolve will ask you to clear your cache. Doing this ensures you have the latest version of Ticketsolve and can fix website issues, optimise performance, ensure you view updated content, and free up storage. Clearing the cache is also a common first step in troubleshooting when you encounter persistent problems on a website, such as broken features or missing images and helps eliminate cached data as a potential cause of the issue.
- On your computer, open a Chrome browser.
- Next to your Chrome profile picture, click the additional options icon (3 dots) in the top right corner of the browser.
- Select Settings from the menu options.
- In the search settings bar, search for 'cache'. Or click Privacy and security from the options on the left of the screen.
- Click on Clear browsing data.
- In the Time range dropdown menu, select a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Next, select what data should be cleared. Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files" to clear the cache.
- Click Clear data.
- Close your browser and reopen it to update Ticketsolve to the latest version, and finish the process.
Important
Clear your cache in the correct Chrome profile. If you have different Chrome profiles (for example a professional one and a private one), be sure you are logged into the Chrome profile that accesses your Ticketsolve account before clearing the cache.
Other browsers
If you use Safari, Firefox, or another browser, please check those specific browser support sites for instructions.
Ticketsolve Tip
Clearing the cache will remove locally stored data, but it won't affect your bookmarks, saved passwords, or browsing history. It's generally a good practice to clear the cache periodically to keep your browsing experience smooth and secure.
