Overview

The setting "production googlemaps key" is used to ensure that the Google Map images set at venue level via the address fields function properly. Up until April 2024 this setting value was blank as the API key used to power it was hardcoded in the backend of Ticketsolve. Moving forward we will add a value by default to this setting to all applicable accounts.

Notes

This is a service that Ticketsolve pays Google to use. After April 2024, if an account is using ticketsolve.com as their domain we will continue to pay for this service for them and add the Ticketsolve Google API key automatically. This is 'AIzaSyBfZ2gZzjASnEDVaEQzKhRbWNQi4ghsRJc'.

However, any accounts that have changed to a non-ticketsolve.com domain e.g., https://riam-tickets.riam.ie/ticketbooth/shows will need to populate this setting with their own Google API key and pay for the service themselves.
