Loqate Integration for Address Lookup

Want to streamline your checkout and capture accurate customer address data? 🙋‍♀️ You're in for a treat!

Our nifty little Address Lookup tool is designed to save your customers (and you) loads of time by offering an address search and capture tool at checkout. All you or your customers need to do is start typing their address, pick the correct one, and voilà - the fields automatically fill in!

We’ve teamed up with Loqate, a powerful address-capture service, to offer this Address Lookup integration. This means that if you want to use this optional tool, you’ll need to create a Loqate account and purchase a credit plan, as Loqate charges for each address lookup.

• Accurate address capture: This ensures that addresses are correct at the point of entry, which is especially important for posting tickets to the right address and claiming Gift Aid (UK only).
• Valuable data resource: Accurate address data is invaluable for future marketing efforts, helping you generate more revenue.
• Improved staff efficiency: This tool provides a great user experience for staff members and customers at the Box Office, making address input quicker and more efficient.

How to set up Address Lookup

You'll first need to sign up to Loqate and buy credits. You'll then be given an Account Code and a License Code to input into your Ticketsolve account settings to activate the address lookup tool.

Sign up to Loqate

You'll need to first sign up to Loqate. It's important to make sure you are linked to Ticketsolve's partner account, which you can do one of two ways:

• Use our partner URL: Head to Loqate's partner sign-up page. This will link you directly to our partner account.
• Direct sign-up: Alternatively, you can sign up directly. Make sure to let us know so we can link you to our account.

Buy Loqate credits

Loqate costs per address lookup, so you'll need to buy credits to use the service. Loqate's onboarding team will help you through this part of the setup to guide you to the best plan. 

Here are some example pricing plans to give you an idea of the cost:

GBP Loqate pricing examples

• £250 Credit Plan: 4,629 address lookups (5.4p per UK lookup)
• £500 Credit Plan: 10,869 address lookups (4.6p per UK lookup)
• £1,000 Credit Plan: 26,315 address lookups (3.8p per UK lookup)
• £2,500 Credit Plan: 78,125 address lookups (3.2p per UK lookup)

EUR Loqate pricing examples

• €150 Credit Plan: 2,027 address lookups (7.4c per ROW lookup)
• €300 Credit Plan: 4,761 address lookups (6.3c per ROW lookup)
• €800 Credit Plan: 15,740 address lookups (5.4c per ROW lookup)

For customers in the Republic of Ireland, an additional £150 setup fee is required by Loqate to use Eircode address data. This fee is beyond Ticketsolve's control and is necessary due to the specific requirements and procedures involved in accessing Eircode data through Loqate.

Enable Address Lookup in Ticketsolve

You can now complete the setup by adding your Loqate Account Code and License Code to your Ticketsolve account and enabling the Address Lookup integration.

1. Go to Settings > General Settings > and search for 'loqate'.

2. In the setting "Loqate account code" add your account code (e.g. TSOLV11111) and click Update to save.

3. In the setting "Loqate license code" add your license code (e.g. AA11-AA11-AA11-AA11) and click Update to save.

4. Address Lookup will now be active on the Box Office.

5. If you want to enable the Address Lookup for the online checkout too, go to the "Loqate enabled ticketbooth" setting and tick the box to enable it, then click Update to save.

 Important

If you decide to no longer use Locate: You will need to remove the Locate details from the above settings to re-enable manual postcode entry.

Address Lookup online

1. On the Billing Details page there will be an Address finder box. Start typing any part of the address into the box and matching address options will automatically start populating.

The more detail you type the more accurate the options in the dropdown will be.

2. Select the correct address from the dropdown by clicking it and the address details will be automatically filled in.

Address Lookup at the Box Office

1. In a customer record, click into the Postcode field and start typing the postcode. The search results will be filtered and grouped - the more postcode characters you enter, the narrower the groupings.

2. Click on a grouping to select and expand the addresses in that group.

3. Select the correct address from the dropdown by clicking it, and the address fields will be populated automatically. You can manually input any additional fields if required.
