What is Ticketsolve Connect Printing?
Ticketsolve Connect (TS Connect) is the application that we use for Fast Printing. Fast Printing is essential to allow your box office to print tickets in a single click, without the need to download a PDF document and print through your PDF reader. Here are some of the features of TS Connect:
- Non-browser specific - you can use it with any browser or version - we recommend Chrome, however, you can also use Firefox, Edge, Safari or Internet Explorer.
- Up-to-date browsing - you can use it with the latest version of your preferred browser, installing browser updates as they are deployed.
- Does not require your ticket printer to be the default printer for your PC, making printing reports and other documents easier.
- Ticketsolve Support can view and edit the printer configuration settings within the Ticketsolve system (please note that printers do still need to be correctly installed and configured with appropriate form sizes and defaults first).

Create a Print Profile in Ticketsolve
1. Restart your browser and log in to Ticketsolve as the User Role Super.
2. Go to Settings > Print Profiles.
3. Click Add New and the Add New Printer Profile page will appear.
4. A dialogue box should open asking you permission for the browser to establish a connection with Ticketsolve Connect. Click to Remember this decision and then click Allow. If this does not appear, try clicking on the refresh button beside the (locally attached printer's) text.
5. Create a name for your new Printer Profile. This profile is unique to each computer and should be based on a local term for the computer e.g. 'Box Office 1', 'Front Desk', etc.
6. In the printer drop-down menu, select your ticket printer. You may be required to click the adjacent refresh button on the right for your printer to appear.
7. A default profile and configuration will be displayed. You may need to adjust the width and height dimensions in the printer config to your ticket stock sizes. The long side of the ticket must be entered as height and the shorter side as the width and entered in mm, as per this example:
{
"rotation": 180,
"rasterize": false,
"base64": "true",
"size": {"width": 80, "height": 140}
}
8. When editing the configuration make sure to include all brackets and punctuation, otherwise you may be unable to print.
9. Click to Save your new Printer Profile.
10. Return to Box Office > Box Office and refresh your browser.
11. Open the main menu by clicking on the T icon (Ticketsolve logo) in the top left.
12. Click on the printer icon to open the Printer selection pop-up box.
13. Select your printer from the dropdown, and ensure that Manual print (PDF) is not checked.
14. Click Save Selection.
15. Print a recent order as a test. If TS Connect is working correctly, your ticket will print automatically (and not download as a PDF to your device first).
16. If the ticket that prints does not print correctly:
- If the printing on the ticket is not aligned or fitting correctly, check that your "template data ticket" size matches the size of your ticket stock and the size set in the Printer Profile. If these are all correct, you may need to change the Paper Form Size in the Print Server Properties on your device.
- If the ticket prints upside-down, you will need to return to the Printer Profile and alter the rotation from 180 to 0.
- If the ticket downloads as a PDF and does not print automatically, check that TS Connect is running in your taskbar and return to step 13 to make sure that Manual Print is disabled.
17. Please note any changes to the Printer Profile will require you to refresh the browser before taking effect.
