Overview 

Enabling this setting allows automatic donations to be added into the cart. If it is not enabled, donations will not be auto-added to the cart even if set up correctly at a product level (by tagging with "auto:250" for example).

Notes

• To set up a donation product to auto-add to the cart, it should be tagged with "auto:" followed by the donation amount to add, in pence. So tagging the donation product "auto:100" will add a £1/€1 donation to the cart automatically. 

• Prompting donations during the checkout process, rather than auto-adding, is the advisable method of setting up donations because this allows the customers to opt-in to donating.
