Overview
This setting enables/disables the display of the 'opt into email communications' check box and description on the customer end of Ticketsolve. It appears under the customer details fields when they are either creating an account, verifying their details at checkout, or in their account profile.
This tick box works on an 'opt in' basis, so it will not be pre-ticked for customers (unless another setting called "customer opt auto select" is also ticked).
Notes
The description of the 'opt in email' field is dependent on the description set in the public website snippet "Public website customer opt in for email form message".
