How to view Customer Emails sent from Ticketsolve

In this article, we are going to look at viewing what emails have been sent to customers from Ticketsolve. This will include confirmation emails, event reminders, emails sent to all event customers or a singular email sent from their order. It is important to have a record of what communication your customers are receiving from you, both automated and manual. 

Viewing emails in a customer's account

To view automated emails sent such as the Checkout mailer (confirmation email), Upcoming event alert and when you have used the Email all event customers function, you can check in the customer's account.

First, find your customer by going to Customers > Search Customers. 

Once you have located your customer, click into the customer record and then click on the Comments tab.

When you click on the Comments tab it may look like this example below, "No manual comments exist". If a staff member added in a manual comment, accessibility requirements for example, it will show here.

Emails sent are displayed under automated system comments. To view these click on the eye icon.

Now we can view the system comments. This will show any automated emails related to the customer's account for any orders.

We can see that there was an Email all event customers (Event Note) sent on the 21st of July, a confirmation email sent on the 28th of June, a customer upcoming event alert email was sent on the 29th of June and a confirmation email was sent on the 17th July. The order number the email relates to is beside this information.

Viewing manual emails sent from an Order

To view any emails sent by staff from Ticketsolve related to a specific order using the "email note" function (available via the order), go into the customer's order. This is when an email is sent to one particular customer - not the Email all event customers function.

You can find an order through Event Summary, Search Orders or in the Customers orders.

Once you have located the order:

1. Select the Comments tab.

2. Click on the eye icon to display system comments.

3. Here we can see on the 17th of July an email note was sent and what it contained.

 Ticketsolve Tip

When looking at an order you can also click into the Customer Info tab and view the customer comments there.
