In this article we are going to look at the Noticeboard. The Noticeboard function is a great way to communicate information and messages between your staff and is really handy if you have multiple users and Box Office locations. Rather than relying on spreadsheets, diaries or sticky notes, you can have all of your information in one place.
Adding information is straightforward, and can be edited/deleted easily.
Important
All users can view the noticeboard, however, only Box Office Manager and Super users have the privileges to add or delete notices.
Managing the Noticeboard
First, go to User > Manage Noticeboard.
1. All of your current notices will be listed in date order on the left-hand side of the screen.
2. To add a new notice for your staff, click on the Add New button at the top of the screen.
3. Type in your note.
4. Click Add Notice at the bottom right of the screen.
Once you save it, you will see the date it was added and who it was created by on the right-hand side.
To delete a notice in order to remove it from the Noticeboard, click into the notice and click the Delete (trash) icon on the top right-hand side.
Viewing the Noticeboard
Open up the side menu and at the top click on the bell icon.
Once you click on the Noticeboard, it will open up in pop-up over the screen with notices listed chronologically, with the most recent at the top. Users can see the date of the notice, who it was created by, and the message.
Comments
We're going to find this really useful at Burnley Mechanics but are struggling to get it to come up as the first page when we login, we've bookmarked it, is there any sort of setting we need to do for it to work?
Hi Krista,
Delighted to hear you will find this useful!
You'll need to bookmark the URL when you are in the Noticeboard and save that as your Ticketsolve Login. Then when you click into the bookmark and input your login details you'll be brought straight to the Noticeboard page. If you need any help with this give us a shout on our Support Line and we can talk you through it.
Thanks,
Aoife
