In this article we’ll look at the Membership Welcome MJML email template and cover when it is sent, what is included, and an example of how it looks.
What is the Membership Welcome email?
The Membership Welcome email is sent to a customer when they create an online account (membership) to your Ticketsolve site, giving them a login and password. Having an online account with you means that the customer's details are saved every time they purchase online, and it also allows them to purchase Benefit Products (i.e. to join any Friends / Supporter / Membership schemes that you sell through Ticketsolve).
The default Membership Welcome email includes:
- Personalised greeting
- Custom message to thank the customer for creating an online account with you
- Button to click to login to their online account
- Custom message to remind them to keep their details confidential and a hyperlink to reset their password if required
- Custom sign off
- Social icons
A customer will only receive this email if they create their own online account on your Ticketsolve site. If you toggle on the Membership option on the customer record at Box Office, the customer won't receive this email - instead they will receive the Membership Reminder (password reset) email which will allow them to create a password for the online account you have just created for them at Box Office.
