Overview 

When this setting is enabled customers will be notified if seats they add to the cart are not together, however it will not stop them from purchasing them. 

Notes

  • For this setting to work correctly the venue must be set up with correct groupings, because the grouping is what allows the system to know when seats are next to each other, and when there is a break in seats like for an aisle. If customers are not notified that their seats aren't together, even with this setting enabled, then there may be incorrect groupings on the venue layout.

  • Unlike the "check for single seats" setting, this "check for split seats" setting does not need to be disabled for best available even. It is actually advisable to have it active so customers are made aware if they have seats in the cart that aren't next to each other.
