29.04.24 - This setting is due to be sunset in the next few weeks and fully replaced by the newer "customer fields for online" setting which gives more flexibility to customise the online Billing Details page to maximise conversions and streamline the checkout process.See full announcement on Beamer.

Overview 

This setting determines which customer fields are mandatory when a customer is confirming an order online. If a required field is not complete, the customer cannot proceed to the payment stage.

Options are:

  • Address Line 1
  • Address Line 2
  • City town
  • Country
  • Email
  • Full Name
  • Mobile - DO NOT SET AS REQUIRED FOR ONLINE ORDERS
  • Phone
  • Post code
  • Region

Notes

  • Mobile MUST NOT be set as a required field for online orders, as the mobile field is not displayed online and will stop customers from completing orders. Phone is the only field displayed online to enter a phone number, landline or mobile, into.
