Overview 

When this is set to true, every time more tickets are added to the cart online the expiry time will be increased to that specified in the "templock time minutes" setting.

When a customers adds their first ticket to the cart, the countdown timer starts, for example, a countdown of 20 minutes. If a customer adds no more tickets to their cart after this, the countdown continues and when 20 minutes is reached, the tickets are reaped (removed) from their cart because they have exceeded the templock time. 

However with this "cart keep alive" setting enabled, if a customer adds a second ticket to their cart, when the countdown timer is at 10 minutes remaining, for example, it will reset and give them the full 20 minutes again from the point that the second ticket is added to cart. 

Notes

• This setting is useful if an account has many events that customers are likely to be booking for in one transaction, for example a festival. Otherwise, by the time customers have finished browsing all the events, the first tickets may have been reaped (removed) from their cart.
