FAQs: Ticketsolve Pay

Thinking about switching to Ticketsolve Pay or already planning your move? Here are answers to the most common questions about the setup, features, and what to expect.

Why Ticketsolve Pay?

Why is Ticketsolve introducing its own payment solution?

We’ve developed Ticketsolve Pay to make payments simpler and more efficient for your organisation. By building the solution directly into Ticketsolve, we’ve created a smoother, more cohesive system that offers:

  • Recurring payments
  • Instalment plans
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Full control in one place

It’s all about improving functionality, saving time, and giving you and your customers a better experience.

Switching to Ticketsolve Pay

What do we need to do to make the switch?

Getting started is simple. Once you’re ready, we’ll guide you through a short onboarding process. This includes:

  • Signing a new Ticketsolve contract
  • Completing KYC steps like ID and address verification
  • Enabling the new payment features in your account

We’ll be with you at every stage.

Is there a contract term or minimum commitment for this new payment service?
Yes, switching to Ticketsolve Pay involves an updated agreement. The good news? It’s straightforward and mirrors your existing platform and service fees.

We’ll send you a revised version of your current contract, with the Ticketsolve Pay section added in. No hidden extras - just one simple, all-in-one setup.
Will there be any downtime during the switch?
No, we anticipate no downtime or disruption to your service. Our team will handle the behind-the-scenes setup, and we’ll guide you to make sure the switch happens without affecting your day-to-day operations.
Can we continue using our current payment provider if we’re not ready to switch?
Yes, of course. We understand that moving to a new provider is a big decision. Your current setup will remain available while we roll out Ticketsolve Pay. When the time is right for you, we’ll be ready to support the transition.

Settlements and Reporting

How will settlements and disbursements work?

You’ll receive payments on a T+1 basis, meaning funds land in your bank account the day after the transaction.

  • You receive the full gross amount, with no fees deducted at settlement
  • Fees are billed monthly in arrears, making reconciliation much easier

If your organisation has different needs, such as festivals or seasonal operations, we’ll work with you to agree on a settlement schedule that fits.

Will we still have access to detailed payment reports?

Yes, and they’re better than ever. Ticketsolve Pay includes a dedicated transaction dashboard inside the system, so there’s no need to log into a separate provider.

You’ll have access to:

  • A Pay-In view showing all individual transactions
  • A Payout view showing what’s being transferred to your bank
  • Drilldowns for each payout so you can see the full breakdown

Your finance team will have everything they need, right at their fingertips.

Customer Experience and Security

How does the new payment solution impact customer experience?
Customers will enjoy more convenient payment options - including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and instalments - which help reduce friction at checkout and increase completed bookings.
What data security measures are in place with this new payment provider?

Security is a top priority for both Ticketsolve and our payment partner, Mangopay.

  • Mangopay is fully PCI-compliant and uses strong encryption to keep customer data safe
  • Ticketsolve is also fully PCI-compliant and undergoes an independent audit every year

We take our responsibilities seriously to protect both your data and your customers’. Read more about PCI compliance at Ticketsolve
