Overview 

This setting enables the Exchange Tool for events.

The Exchange Tool is used to contact customers for cancelled or rescheduled events, and can offer customers to exchange their tickets for donations, refunds, rescheduled dates of the same show, or credit vouchers. You can decide the options that tickets can be exchanged for by reading the below related articles.

Notes

If this setting is disabled on an event, when you send the 'Refund (Covid)' email, customers will still receive the email and link to the Exchange Tool, but when they click it, they will see the message 'Exchanges have not been allowed for this event.'.
