In this article, we are going to look at how to remove Booking Fees and Charges from a specific Show or Event. Depending on how your fees and/or charges are set up there are a couple of different ways to do this, which we will walk-through below.
Removing per-ticket Booking Charges
If you charge a per-ticket booking charge these can be skipped at Show or Event level, as well as at Ticket Price level. These are skipped using the setting called "skip per ticket booking charges".
Removing Booking Charges at Show or Event level
Go to Manage > Shows and find your selected show. (If you are removing on a specific Event only, continue to click through into the Run and then the correct date/time for the Event).
1. Click on the Settings tab.
2. Find the "skip per ticket booking charges" setting and click into it.
3. To remove all per-ticket charges and fees from this Show (or Event), tick the box.
4. Select Update to save.
Important
If you also have any per-ticket box office/online/phone Booking Fees set up in addition, they will also be removed from the Show/Event/Ticket Price when the setting is enabled at the relevant level.
What's the difference between Booking Charges and Booking Fees?

Removing Booking Charges at a Ticket Price level
Go to Manage > Pricing and find your selected ticket price.
1. Click on the Settings tab for the price.
2. Find the "skip per ticket booking charges" setting and click into it.
3. To remove all per-ticket charges and fees from this Show (or Event), tick the box.
4. Select Update to save.
Removing per-ticket Booking Fees
If you have per-ticket Booking Fees set up, there's a couple of options to remove them from a Show or Event.
- Enable the "skip per ticket booking charges" setting at Show or Event level to remove all fees and charges. Follow the instructions above for removing per-ticket Booking Charges.
- Edit the "booking fee amount" settings on a Subdomain, Program, Show or Event level.
In this section, we'll walk through how to amend the Booking Fee amount settings at Show or Event level.
Go to Manage > Shows and find your selected show. (If you are removing on a specific Event only, continue to click through into the Run and then the correct date/time for the Event).
1. Click on the Settings tab.
2. Find the setting called "boxoffice booking fee amount" and click into it.
3. To remove the fee from Box Office orders, amend the amount in the pop-up box to 0 (e.g. changing the amount from '2' to '0'.
4. Select Update to save.
5. Repeat steps 2 - 4 for the "online booking fee amount" and "phone booking fee amount" as required.
Removing per-cart Booking Fees
If you have a per-cart Booking Fee, the only way to remove it from a Show is to add a 'nocharge' Tag to the Show. It is not possible to remove a per-cart fee on Event or Ticket Price level.
Go to Manage > Shows and find your selected Show.
1. In the Tags box type 'nocharge' into the box and either select the tag, or hit enter on the keyboard to add the Tag.
2. Click Update Show.
